Delicate blossoms and vivid carp streamers on display

Tatebayashi is known as a garden town for its seasonal flower displays and extensive parks. During early spring, around 650 cherry trees clustered in four spots across the city burst into bloom.

The town’s famous koinobori carp streamers are displayed at the same time, strung en masse across the Tsuruuda River, contrasting with the bright yellow canola flowers along the banks.

At night, paper lanterns illuminate the paths under the cherry blossoms. The combination of the colorful streamers, flowers, and lanterns creates a breathtaking display.
