See the works of Tsurutaro Kataoka in Kusatsu

Built near Sainokawara Park, this art museum is of modern construction. It displays pieces of Tsurutaro Kataoka, a famous actor and entertainer in Japan, that include his paintings and calligraphic works. His works show life in Japan or plants and animals painted in a unique style that’s full of expression. The first floor includes a cafe as well as a store that sells picture postcards and handkerchiefs.
