A tribute to Japan's queen of drift
Sayacafe is a themed cafe and homage to drift entertainer and professional driver Shimoda Sayaka. The interior and menu are inspired by Shimoda and her electric blue Sileighty (Sil80), a custom drift car.
The stylish seating area is decorated with blue chairs and photographs of Shimoda’s past races. Some of Shimoda’s racing suits are displayed by the cafe counter—a great spot to immortalize your visit with some commemorative photos. The menu features themed items like blue soft-serve ice cream, flavored sodas, and soda floats.
Entranced by the drift racing D1 Grand Prix, Shimoda dedicated all of her time and energy to the sport until she made her professional debut in 2020. She has been a fan-favorite ever since and continues to be an active member of the drift racing world. Today, Shimoda is the official tourism ambassador for the city of Annaka.
