Bathe in a historic onsen deep in the mountains
This day spa is part of the Kuni Roadside Station found on the way to nature-filled Lake Nozori. Discovered during the Otoku Era (1084–1087), it features waters with a slight cloudiness and black mineral deposits that float on the surface. Because it’s soothing and gentle on the skin, the hot spring is beloved by locals as a place for a leisurely soak after bathing in the highly acidic waters of Kusatsu Onsen.
