Climb jagged peaks for dramatic hiking scenery

Craggy and unusual rock formations characterize Mt. Myogi (1,104 m). The hike is a treat for those looking for a challenge, and only accomplished climbers should attempt some of its steeper paths.

Its jagged, sculptural rocks create dramatic scenery, particularly during autumn, when the foliage adds a splash of color. From mid-April to mid-May, when around 5,000 cherry trees of 45 around varieties bloom at the foot of Mt. Myogi at Sakuro no Sato.

Along with Mt. Akagi and Mt. Haruna, Mt. Myogi is thought of as one of Gunma's three prominent mountains, known for their beauty.
