Fujioka Wisteria Festival

The Fujioka Wisteria Festival livens up the Fuji no Saku Oka flower park every spring. Exhibitions include a 250-meter-long wisteria pergola and a garden with roughly 45 varieties of the flower. The nighttime pergola illumination is particularly striking. During the festival, various festival food is sold.

Fuji no Saku Oka is more than a 30-minute walk away from Gunma-Fujioka Station, so it is recommended to take a taxi from there or Shinmachi Station or to rent a car from Takasaki Station. Buses run from Gunma Fujioka Station, but they are infrequent.
