A powerful waterfall framed by autumn foliage
There are few sights as striking as Fukiware no Taki Falls in autumn. These 7 meters high, 30 meters wide falls powerfully cut through the Katashina Gorge.
From late October to early November, the forests turn orange, red, and yellow on either side of the falls. The best place to view this spectacle is from Ukishima Bridge, a suspension bridge over the ravine.
