Seasonal hikes along a forested valley trail
This deep, forested valley runs about 3.5 kilometers along the Agatsuma River.
Hike the riverside trail to see its interesting rock formations and waterfalls. In spring, enjoy cherry blossoms, and in mid-April, blooming azaleas. The trail is lush and green in summer before the foliage turns a riot of colors in autumn. In winter, snow covers the landscape, giving the scene an otherworldly feel.
