Explore Japanese crafts in a traditional setting

Takuminosato is a collection of four villages with a variety of craft-making workshops and stores to explore.

Wander among these rural villages set against mountains, rice fields, and orchards. You can participate in hands-on workshops that include wood and bamboo working, washi papermaking, dyeing, weaving, soba making, and glass blowing.

The villages also host fruit-picking experiences and shops selling Japanese arts and crafts.
