Make a unique glass accessory to take home
Taiga Glass offers hands-on glass-making experiences in Minakami. Under the guidance of skilled artisans, participants can create their own unique glass pieces by heating and shaping borosilicate glass, known for its durability and beautiful shiny finish. During the workshop, you can enhance your design with patterns of colored glass to make accessories such as pendants and hair clips. This hands-on activity is an opportunity to learn Japanese craftsmanship and create a personalized souvenir. Classes last between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the item you wish to create. There is also a gallery where you can buy locally made glass items.
