Stop and smell the roses
You can see around 7,000 roses in 600 different varieties at this European style rose garden located next to Shikishima Park in Maebashi. Elegant gazebos, fountains, and statues punctuate the formal gardens, encouraging leisurely viewing.
You can find varieties from all over the world alongside new varieties cultivated here in Gunma. During the annual Rose Garden Festivals in spring and autumn, the gardens are illuminated for romantic evening strolls.
