Take a break at Maebashi’s premier Roadside Station
Located at the base of Mt. Akagi, this expansive roadside station is a vibrant hub for dining, shopping, activities, and relaxation. With over 20 shops and plentiful parking, it’s an ideal stop on the way to Akagi, Ikaho, Shima, and Kusatsu.
Savor local flavors at one of the restaurants, including specialties from Maebashi, and browse a variety of regional produce and souvenirs.
For a truly relaxing experience, visit the onsite bathhouse, Maebashi Akagi no Yu. Step into a nostalgic Showa-era setting and admire a stunning mural of Mt. Akagi, painted by Mizuki Tanaka—Japan’s only female bathhouse mural artist. The mineral-rich waters, infused with calcium and magnesium, offer a soothing experience for both body and mind.
